The Bench Mob Foundation
Our Story
The Bench Mob Foundation was born from a simple belief: everyone deserves a place on the bench.
After years in the roller hockey community, we saw firsthand how much the sport brings people together—not just for competition, but for friendship, support, and belonging. It's where lifelong friendships are formed, confidence built, and teammates become family.
But we also saw something else.
Behind every jersey is a person with a story. We saw teammates quietly carrying struggles that never showed up on the scoresheet—loneliness, stress, anxiety, grief, addiction, financial hardship, and the everyday challenges that life can bring. While the game may end when the final buzzer sounds, those battles often continue long after leaving the rink.
That's why we're building something bigger than roller hockey.
The Bench Mob Foundation exists to strengthen the connections that make this community so special. Through the game we love, we strive to promote mental wellness, encourage meaningful conversations, and create a culture where every player, family member, friend, coach, official, and volunteer feels seen, supported, and included.
Because no one should have to face life's challenges alone.

In hockey, the bench is where teammates support one another, celebrate together, and lift each other up through every challenge.
The Bench Mob represents the belief that no one should face life's struggles alone. Whether you're a player, family, or friend, there is always a place for you here.

At The Bench Mob Foundation, we promise to build a community where every player, family member, coach, official, volunteer, and fan feels welcomed, valued, and supported. We'll celebrate life's victories together, stand beside one another through life's challenges, and remind each other that asking for help is a sign of strength—not weakness.
